His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Beji Caid Essebsi, participated in the opening session of the International Conference in support of economic, social and sustainable development in Tunisia, held in the Presidential Hall on Tuesday.

A number of Heads of governments of states, Heads of delegations, senior officials, businessmen, investors and representatives of a number of Tunisian and international companies and institutions also participated in the session.

Following a speech by Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, HH The Amir delivered a speech in which he announced the allocation of one billion, two hundred and fifty million American Dollars as a contribution by the State of Qatar to support Tunisia's economy and promoting its developmental drive.
