HH The Amir, French President Hold Talks
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the President of the French Republic, Francois Hollande, on Monday evening held a session of official talks at the Elysee Palace.
The session reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries as well as means of enhancing and developing them and taking them to wider horizons so as to serve mutual interests and meet the ambitions of the two friendly countries and people.
The two sides also discussed a set of key issues on the regional and international arenas, particularly the latest developments in the region.
A number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir attended the meeting along with a group of French Ministers and senior officials.
HH The Amir and the French President witnessed the signing of an economic cooperation agreement on enhancing small and medium-sized enterprises between the governments of the State of Qatar and the French Republic, a cultural cooperation agreement between the governments of Qatar and France, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Qatari Foreign Ministry's Diplomatic Institute and France's National School of Administration (ENA), a contract for the construction and supply of Lusail's light rail system, and a contract on the management of the engineering services project for the metro system.
An official reception ceremony was held for HH The Amir at the Military School.
