His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at his Office in Al Bahr Palace this morning HE Abdullah Gul, former President of the Republic of Turkey, who called on HH The Amir to greet him on the occasion of his visit to Qatar.

Talks during the meeting dealt with a number of issues of mutual interest.
