HH The Amir Receives US Senate Delegation

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at his Amiri Diwan office on Sunday US Deputy Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Senator for Maryland, Sen. Ben Cardin, Senator for Colorado, Sen. Cory Gardner, Senator for Massachusetts, Sen. Ed Markey, Senator for Oregon, Sen. Jeff Merkley, at the U.S. Senate, and their accompanying delegation, who called on HH The Amir to greet him on the occasion of their visit to Qatar.

Talks during the meeting dealt with cooperation relations between the two countries in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
