HH The Amir Leads Well Wishers to Welcome Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani led well-wishers to welcome the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud upon his arrival in Hamad International Airport this afternoon on a two-day official visit to Qatar.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH The Amir, HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani along with a number of Their Excellencies sons of HH The Father Amir were at the airport to welcome the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Also on hand to welcome the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques were a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani extended on behalf of the people of the State of Qatar and his behalf sincere welcome and expressed great pleasure on the visit of his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to his second country Qatar among his family and relatives, adding that the State of Qatar share with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people deeply-rooted, strong and well established fraternal ties.
This came in a statement of HH The Amir on the occasion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's visit, during which HH The Amir expressed his intense pride over the deep friendly and historic relations between the State of Qatar and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which were laid by parents and grandparents. HH The Amir further stated his commitment to continue boosting, enhancing and promoting them for the benefit of our peoples.
The following is the text of the statement:
'I would like to extend on behalf of the people of the State of Qatar and on my own behalf our sincere welcome and express our great pleasure over the visit of my brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, for whom we have deep affection, dearness and all the appreciation; and we share with his kind people the most deeply-rooted, strongest and well established fraternal ties. Welcome to him in his second country Qatar among his family and relatives.
I may not need to stress in this context our intense pride over the strong friendly and historic relations between Qatar and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia laid by parents and grandparents, which are very keen to continue boosting, enhancing and developing them for the benefit of our two peoples.'
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is accompanied during the visit by Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al Saud, Prince Mansour bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud along with a number of Princes and Ministers, members of the accompanying delegation.
