HH The Amir Receives FIFA Chief

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at his office in Al Bahr Palace on Sunday the President of International Football Federation (FIFA) Joseph Blatter, on the occasion of the latter's visit to Qatar.

The meeting dealt with Qatar-FIFA relations and the prospects of developing them.

The meeting also, addressed a number of topics related to Qatar's hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the latest developments thereon and the efforts being excreted in the field of labor rights in addition to the possibility of holding the international tournament during the months of November and December 2022.
