HH The Amir Receives Saudi Deputy Crown Prince

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Ritz Carlton Hotel on Tuesday morning.

At the outset of the meeting, HRH Mohammed bin Nayef conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and their best wishes of continued good health and happiness to HH The Amir as well as more progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.

HH The Amir entrusted HRH Mohammed bin Nayef to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the Crown Prince, coupled with his wishes of good health and happiness to them and further progress and development to the people of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they reviewed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields to serve the interests of the two countries and their peoples.

They also discussed the overall situation on the regional and international arenas and exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and HE The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

From the Saudi side, it was attended by the members of the delegation accompanying the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince.

HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had arrived in Qatar on Tuesday morning on a short fraternal visit, and was greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
