HH The Amir Receives Turkish Foreign Minister

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received this morning, at his Amiri Diwan office, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed strategic bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, as well as several regional and international issues, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories. In this regard, HH The Amir stressed Qatar's firm position in condemning all forms of targeting civilians, the importance of efforts aimed at de-escalation and sparing civilians the consequences of fighting, opening safe corridors in Gaza for aid and humanitarian efforts, and ensuring the conflict does not expand regionally.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani attended the meeting.
