HH The Amir Meets Head of Hamas Political Bureau

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met, at his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning, with the Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Dr Ismail Haniyeh and the accompanying delegation.

The meeting reviewed the most important developments in Palestine. Dr Haniyeh briefed HH the Amir on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, especially the unfair blockade under which the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip are suffering.

In this regard, the Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed his thanks to HH the Amir for the valuable efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar to support the Palestinian people.

For his part, HH the Amir affirmed the firm and supportive stance of the State of Qatar for the brotherly Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate national rights.
