HH The Amir and Italian Prime Minister Hold Talks Session

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giuseppe Conte held on Wednesday a session of official talks pertaining to bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in all fields, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, and defense.

The session, which was held at the Amiri Diwan today, also discussed a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, particularly developments in Libya.

The talks session was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies the ministers.   On the Italian side, it was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official accompanying delegation.

Earlier this morning HE the Italian Prime Minister was accorded an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
