HH The Amir and President of Côte d'Ivoire Witness Signing of Agreements and MoU

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Alassane Ouattara witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and a memorandum of understanding between the governments of the two countries.

The two leaders witnessed the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a joint committee of cooperation between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, an agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research, an agreement on the promotion and protection of mutual investments aimed at enhancing and deepening economic cooperation for the common interest and mutual benefit of both countries, and an agreement on Ivorian workers recruitment regulation.

HH The Amir and HE the President of Côte d'Ivoire witnessed the signing of maritime transport agreement and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of tourism and tourism business events.

The signing ceremony of the agreements and the memorandum of understanding were attended by Their Excellencies the ministers.

From the Ivorian side, it was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE President of Côte d'Ivoire.
