HH The Amir Meets President of Iran

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today with HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, on the sidelines of the Seventh Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to regional and international developments of common concern.

The meeting was attended by HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.

On the Iranian side, the meeting was attended by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and a number of senior officials.
