HH The Amir Meets the President of The Transitional Sovereign Council in Sudan

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today with HE Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of the Sudan Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan in Algiers, on the sidelines of the 31st regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, which was held today at the Centre International de Conferences Alger (Abdullatif Rahal) at the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

During the meeting, they explored bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop and strengthen them, and discussed a number of developments of mutual interest, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent topics on the summit's agenda, and what would enhance joint Arab action.

The meeting was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation. On the Sudanese side, it was attended by HE Sudanese Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Al Sadiq, HE Sudanese Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Gibril Ibrahim, and a number of members of the accompanying delegation.
