HH The Amir hosts luncheon banquet For Philippines President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of President of Philippines,Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and the accompanying delegation, at the Amiri Diwan in Doha on Sunday.

During the banquet, the Philippine President praised the strong relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, stressing his keenness on enhancing and promoting them in all fields including trade, economy and military. He also expressed his gratitude over the care and kindness accorded to the Filipino community in Qatar, extending an invitation to HH The Amir to visit the Philippines.

For his part, HH The Amir expressed satisfaction over the development of bilateral ties, stressing that President Duterte's visit to Qatar would further support and enhance relations between the two countries. HH The Amir also welcomed his invitation to visit the Philippines.

The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
