HH The Amir Issues Two Decrees

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. 14 of 2018 ratifying a memorandum of understanding on combatting crime between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Italian Republic signed in Rome on 16 April 2012 and annexed to this decree, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir also issued Decree No. 15 of 2018 approving the accession of the State of Qatar to the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments 2004 annexed to this decree, which shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

The decrees are effective starting from their issuance date and are to be published in the official gazette.
