HH The Amir Leaves Moscow

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Moscow this evening.

HH The Amir sent a cable to HE President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, in which He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and appreciation accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit which provided the opportunity to meet with HE the President to exchange views on issues of mutual interest that would contribute to strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and interest of the two friendly peoples.

HH The Amir expressed his sincere congratulations to HE the President, the Government, and the Russian people on the outstanding success of organizing the World Cup Russia 2018.

HH The Amir also said that Qatar has benefited greatly from the Russian outstanding experience in organizing the most important sport event in the world, expressing his appreciation and best wishes for HE the Russian President of good health, well- being and happiness and the friendly people of the Russian Federation further progress and prosperity.
