HH The Amir Leaves Kuwait
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Kuwait on Tuesday evening after chairing Qatar's delegation to the meetings of the 38th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which concluded its works earlier today.
HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Kuwait International Airport by HE Lt. Gen. Sheikh Khalid Al Jarrah Al Sabah, Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister and head of the mission of honor accompanying HH The Amir, HE Hamad bin Ali Al Henzab, Qatar's Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Hafeez Mohammed Al Ajami, Kuwait's Ambassador to Qatar, and the Qatari Embassy staff.
HH The Amir sent a cable to HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, in which HH expressed thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and appreciation he received during his participation in the 38th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and praised the efforts of HH The Amir of Kuwait aiming to enhance cooperation and solidarity among GCC countries and to consolidate security and stability in the region. HH The Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will spare no effort to achieve the best interests of the peoples of the Gulf and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations, asking Almighty Allah to grant HH the Amir of Kuwait the best of health, and to achieve prosperity and progress for the State of Kuwait under his wise leadership.
