His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today at the premises of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in New York with a number of Their Excellencies and Highnesses the Heads of delegations participating in the 68th session of UN General Assembly.

HH The Amir met with the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Horacio Manuel Cartes Jara, the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and the Vice-President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Khodair Al Khuzai. HH The Amir also met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of New Zealand, John Key, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta, Dr. Joseph Muscat.

Talks during the meetings dealt with bilateral relations and issues of the 68th General Assembly session agenda.

The meetings were attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
