HH The Amir Arrives in Madrid

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in the capital Madrid on Monday evening, on a state visit to the friendly Kingdom of Spain.

HH The Amir was welcomed upon arrival at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport by HE State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs Angeles Moreno Bau, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim AlHammer, HE Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Qatar Belen Alfaro Hernandez, a number of Spanish high-ranking civil and military officials, and staff of the Qatari Embassy.

HH The Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.

HH The Amir's plane was accompanied by two planes of the Royal Spanish Air Force upon entering the Spanish airspace, welcoming the arrival of HH The Amir.
