HH The Amir Leaves Beijing
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Beijing on Thursday evening after a two-day visit to the People's Republic of China.
HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Beijing Capital International Airport by HE Chinese Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Middle East Affairs Chen Xiaodong, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the People's Republic of China Dr Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, HE Chinese Ambassador to Qatar Li Chen and members of the Embassy of Qatar in Beijing.
HH The Amir sent cables to HE President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and HE Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honor accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which reflected the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
HH The Amir also expressed great satisfaction to the positive results of the visit which will contribute to supporting and promoting that partnership for the good and benefit of both peoples. HH The Amir wished HE the President and HE the Premier of the State Council health and happiness and to the Chinese people further progress and prosperity.
