HH The Amir Heads to Rwanda Tomorrow
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will head on Monday to the Republic of Rwanda to attend the ceremony of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, which will be held in Kigali in partnership with the United Nations, and in the presence of HE President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame, HE President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob, HE President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Felix Tshisekedi, President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed, and Vice President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) Dr. Eduardo Vetere.
Several international personalities in the field of the award will attend the ceremony.
During the ceremony, HH The Amir and HE the Rwandan President will honor the winners of the award's four categories: Lifetime or Outstanding Achievement; Academic Research and Education; Youth Creativity and Engagement; and Innovation.
