HH The Amir Leaves London

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Tuesday afternoon London, following the conclusion of a visit to the UK after receiving an invitation from HE Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May.

HH The Amir sent a cable to the Prime Minister expressing sincere thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and appreciation accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit that provided an opportunity to exchange views on a number of issues of joint interest and to review ways to enhance ties, cooperation, and the strategic partnership between the two sides in a way that pursues the interests of the two peoples.

HH The Amir also expressed his appreciation and best wishes for HE the Prime Minister and hope of further progress and prosperity to the people of the UK. HH The Amir was accompanied by an official delegation during the visit.
