HH The Amir Leaves Kuala Lumpur
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Kuala Lumpur on Friday evening after a working visit to Malaysia.
HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Kuala Lumpur International Airport by HE Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Malaysia Fahad bin Mohammed Kafood and members of the Qatari Embassy.
HH The Amir sent a cable to HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honour accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which allowed meetings with His Excellency, and the exchange of views on issues of common interest and means of strengthening and promoting the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and benefit of the two peoples.
HH The Amir wished HE the Prime Minister the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Malaysia further progress and prosperity.
HH The Amir was accompanied by an official delegation.
