HH The Amir Attends Dinner Banquet Hosted by Argentinian President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended a dinner banquet hosted by the President of the Argentine Republic, Mauricio Macri, at the Quinta de Olivos Presidential Palace in honour of HH The Amir and the official accompanying delegation.

At the outset of the banquet, President Macri expressed his thanks to HH The Amir for visiting Argentina, calling for Qatar to be a strategic partner given the two countries are economically integrated and can achieve a lot through mutual cooperation, and particularly as Argentina has started a new phase of reforms.

For his part, HH The Amir expressed his wishes that relations between the two countries would develop to a strategic partnership, describing talks between the two sides as positive and distinguished, and wishing they would continue regularly in order to enhance cooperation, partnership and investment between the two countries.

HH The Amir also thanked the President for the invitation and hospitality.

Juliana Awada, wife of the President, and a number of Ministers attended the banquet from the Argentinian side.
