HH The Amir Receives FIFA Members, Presidents of Arab and International Federations and Committees

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received this evening at the Khalifa International Stadium a number of Their Excellencies members of the International Federation of Football (FIFA) and the Presidents of Arab and international Federations and Committees.

HH The Amir met with President of the Jordanian Football Association HH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, HE President of Kuwait Football Association Sheikh Ahmed Al Yousef Al Sabah, HE President of Oman Football Association Sheikh Salim Al Wahaibi , HE President of Lebanon Football Association Hashim Haidar, HE President of the Palestinian Football Association Jibril Rajoub, HE President of Football Federation of Sri Lanka Anura de Silva, HE President of Philippine Football Federation Mariano Araneta, HE President of the Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Salahuddin, HE President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Umid Akhmatdjanov, as well as Their Excellencies FIFA members Tarek Bouchamaoui, Mahfuza Akhter and Almamy Kabele, who called on HH The Amir to greet him, on the occasion of thier visit to attend the final of HH the Amir Cup.

The meeting was attended by HE FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, especially in the field of sports.
