HH The Amir Directs to Aid Gaza Strip by $150 Million

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani directed today to provide financial support to Palestinians brothers in the Gaza Strip with amount of $ 150 million over a period of 6 months, in order to complement the efforts of the State of Qatar to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people, and in support of the United Nations relief and humanitarian programs in the Gaza Strip.

It will also include financial assistance to support the people of the besieged Strip in combating the outbreak of the new coronavirus (Covid-19), and a contribution from the State of Qatar in the global efforts to limit its effects.
