His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani launched his official account on twitter under the name @TamimBinHamad.

His tweet runs as follows: "on the Qatar national day we remember our fathers and ancestors for their sacrifices for the glory and dignity of our nation. We commend the tenacity of the people of Qatar in defending the independence, feats and principles of their nation. We reaffirm the determination to pursue the path of building, development and dignity."
