HH The Amir Discusses with Czech Prime Minister Bilateral Relations and Ways to Develop them
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala discussed strengthening the existing friendship and joint cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and develop these relations at various levels to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
Also, HH The Amir and HE the Czech Prime Minister discussed, during the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Prime Minister's Office in the Czech capital Prague today afternoon, enhancing the relations between the two countries to broader levels in all fields.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Czech Prime Minister expressed his personal welcome and that of the Czech government to HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation, hoping that His Highness' visit would contribute to the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
For his part, HH The Amir thanked HE the Prime Minister for the warm reception, expressing his aspiration to develop joint cooperation, especially with the increasing of favorable opportunities between the two countries.
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani attended the meeting.
On the Czech side, it was attended by HE Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, HE Minister of Finance Zbynek Stanjura, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavsky, HE Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Sikela, and a number of senior officials.
