HH The Amir Meets President of Germany

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met this morning with HE President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Frank Walter Steinmeier, at the Bellevue Presidential Palace in Berlin this morning.

During the meeting, they reviewed strategic relations between the two friendly countries and ways of developing them in different fields particularly in the political and economic fields. HE The President expressed his pleasure to host the Qatar-Germany Business and Investment Forum in Berlin, in hopes to deepen the investment partnership as well as grow economic and trade relations between the two countries in order to meet both peoples’ aspirations.

HH The Amir and HE the President exchanged views on the overall regional and international situations and stressed in this regard the importance of stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by a number of  their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir, and from the German side a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
