HH The Deputy Amir Chairs Second Meeting of QU Board of Trustees

HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU), chaired the second meeting of the QU Board of Trustees for the academic year (2019-2020), which was held at the Amiri Diwan today.

The Board discussed the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions, including the approval of the proposal of the Ph. D. degree in Law and the proposal of Master's degree in Finance.

The Board also approved the establishment of the Department of Physical Education, the establishment of the Department of Art Education, the reactivation of the art education program in the College of Education, the restructuring of education diploma programs and the restructuring of the Master of Materials Science and Technology.
