HH The Amir receives Phone Call from Chancellor of Austria

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received today a phone call from HE Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Karl Nehammer.

At the beginning of the call, the Austrian Chancellor expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH The Amir for Qatar's diplomatic efforts that contributed to the release of the Austrian citizen who was detained in Afghanistan.

During the call, the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories were discussed in addition to ways to develop the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. The call also touched upon a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
