HH The Amir Receives Phone Call from Prime Minister of Netherlands

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call today from HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

During the call, they discussed relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries. In addition, they discussed regional and international developments, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories.

In that regard, HH The Amir stressed Qatar's firm stance in condemning all forms of targeting civilians and the need to make more efforts to reduce escalation, spare civilians the consequences of fighting, open safe corridors for relief and humanitarian efforts in Gaza, and ensure that violence does not expand regionally.

For his part, HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands praised HH The Amir's role and the diplomatic efforts of the State of Qatar regarding the situation in Gaza.
