HH The Amir Holds Phone Call with Tunisian President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone call with HE President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied this evening.

During the phone call, they reviewed the latest developments in Tunisia. HH The Amir stressed the need to overcome the current political crisis and the importance of the Tunisian parties to adopt the path of dialogue to overcome the crisis, consolidate the pillars of the state of institutions and establish the rule of law in the Republic of Tunisia, in order to preserve the interest of the brotherly Tunisian people and the stability of Tunisia.

For his part, HE the Tunisian President expressed thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for Qatar's supportive position for the aspirations of the Tunisian people and its constant stand with Tunisia.

The two sides also reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing and promoting them.
