HH The Amir Holds Phone Call with French President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone call with HE President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

During the phone call which HH The Amir received from HE the French President on Sunday, the two sides reviewed the close bilateral relations between Qatar and France and means of promoting and developing them in all fields.

The two sides also reviewed the most important developments on the regional and international arenas, especially the situation in Libya and ways of maintaining security and stability in the country, in addition to the situation in Afghanistan. The French President praised the efforts made by the State of Qatar in reaching a peace agreement between the United States and the Afghan Taliban movement, which was signed in Doha on Saturday.
