HH The Amir Holds phone call with Iranian President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held via telephone a conversation this morning with HE the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani.

During the phone call, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and means to promote them, in addition to major regional and international developments.

His Highness also expressed, during the call, the State of Qatar's solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the infection of a number of its citizens with the novel coronavirus, expressing the State of Qatar's readiness to provide the necessary support regarding the necessary needs to combat and prevent this virus.
