HH The Amir Holds Phone Call with President of South Sudan

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone call with HE President of the Republic of South Sudan Lt General Salva Kiir Mayardit, on Wednesday evening.

During the phone call, they reviewed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and developing them. In this regard, HH The Amir affirmed the support of the State of Qatar for the efforts of establishing peace in South Sudan, and harnessing all capabilities to guarantee the success of reaching an agreement between all parties in order to ensure stability and peace. HH The Amir also praised the efforts of HE the President to consolidate peace in South Sudan.

A number of issues of mutual concern were also discussed during the phone call.
