HH The Amir Holds Phone call with Prime Minister of New Zealand
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone conversation today with HE the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, during which HH The Amir expressed his condolences and those of the Qatari people to HE the Prime Minister and the people of New Zealand on the victims of the terrorist attack, which took place in two mosques in Christchurch, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
HH The Amir also affirmed that the State of Qatar stands with New Zealand and expressed Qatar's readiness to help it in its efforts to counter terrorism and extremism, praising the Prime Minister's efforts in dealing with this incident.
HE the Prime Minister of New Zealand, in turn, thanked HH The Amir for the phone call and for the solidarity with New Zealand.
