HH The Amir Holds Telephone Conversation with President of Mali

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held on Saturday a telephone conversation with HE President of the Republic of Mali Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.

During the phone call, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and means to promote them.

HE the Malian President also expressed thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for the State of Qatar's support for Mali in different development areas, especially its efforts in combatting terrorism through supporting education as well as providing a number of military armored vehicles as contribution to supporting peace process within the international efforts for combating extremism and establishing peace in Mali and the Sahel region.

HH The Amir and HE the Malian President also discussed, during the phone call, a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
