HH The Amir Holds Telephone Conversation with Head of Hamas Political Bureau

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday held via telephone a conversation with Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas).

HH The Amir learned during the telephone conversation about the critical humanitarian conditions of the people of Gaza and the lack of fuel that resulted in the closure of several hospitals and clinics.

HH The Amir reaffirmed to the head of the political bureau the State of Qatar's constant support for the Palestinian people and that it will carry on its reconstruction projects in Gaza and working to provide the necessary fuel for the different sectors.

For his part, Dr. Haniyeh expressed his and the people of Gaza's gratitude to HH The Amir for the State of Qatar's constant support for the Palestinian people and for HH The Amir's response to the appeal of the people of Gaza.
