HH The Amir Holds Telephone Conversation with Russian President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held this evening a telephone conversation with President of the  Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them, and discussed the latest developments in the region, especially regarding the crisis between Qatar and some Gulf Arab countries.

The Russian President reiterated Russia's supportive stance for resolving the crisis between Qatar and the Gulf countries through dialogue, based on mutual respect and diplomatic and political ways.

For his part, HH The Amir expressed his thanks for the Russian Federation's stance and his personal interest in strengthening the solid relations between the two friendly countries and his position calling for maintaining  stability in the Gulf region.
