HH The Amir Congratulates Prime Minister of Iraq on Liberation of Mosul

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation this evening with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Haider Al Abadi, to congratulate him on the liberation of the city of Mosul from the hands of terrorist organisations.

HH The Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar's stance on the side of Iraq in the face of terrorism and extremism.

HH The Amir also reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance against terrorism, rejecting and condemning it in all its forms and manifestations, whatever its causes and motives.

Relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them were also reviewed during the telephone call.
