HH The Amir Holds Phone Call with President of Burkina Faso

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held Tuesday a phone call with HE President of Burkina Faso Roch Marc Christian Kabore.

During the call, HH The Amir expressed condolences on the victims of the terrorist attack which took place in a restaurant in the capital Ouagadougou last Sunday and resulted in a number of dead and wounded, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.

HH The Amir expressed strong condemnation of this criminal act aimed at destabilizing security and stability and terrorizing the innocents. HH The Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar stands by Burkina Faso and its friendly people in confronting extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

For his part, HE the President of Burkina Faso thanked HH The Amir for his generous feelings and solidarity with Burkina Faso in this painful event.
