HH The Amir Receives Phone Call from UN Secretary-General

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received today a telephone call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

The UN Secretary General during the call expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for the State of Qatar's efforts and its vision to find a solution to the humanitarian crisis in Syria and the efforts that resulted in the release of the Nuns of the Monastery of Saint Takla in the town of Maloula, and freed Syrian women from the prisons of the Syrian regime.

Discussions during the call also dealt with the latest developments in the region.
