HH The Amir Receives Cable of Congratulation from the U.S. President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a cable of congratulation from HE President of the United States of America Donald Trump, on the occasion of the National Day, in which His Excellency expressed his sincere congratulations on behalf of the government and the American people, praising the close relations that the two countries share and their commitment to deepen and strengthen them.

HE the U.S. President said in his cable that “the State of Qatar continues to thrive and prosper under your leadership. We appreciate the Qatar’s cooperation on a broad range of bilateral, regional and economic issues that are key to maintaining peace and stability in the region. We also thank you for your critical support of U.S forces at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar’s hosting the Afghanistan peace negotiations, and the increased cultural exchanges between our countries, including the U.S. participation in 2021 Qatar Year of Culture.”

In his message, HE the U.S. President also expressed pride in the partnership with Qatar, saying “I am proud of iur indispensable and unwavering partnership with Qatar and look forward to expanding our cooperation in the future.”
