His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences on Thursday to HM King Felipe VI of Spain regarding the victims of the attack that took place in a tourist street in downtown Barcelona, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. HH The Amir expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the criminal act, reiterating the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting extremism and terrorism, regardless of motives or reasons. HH The Amir also affirmed the State of Qatar's solidarity with Spain in all actions taken to counter terrorist acts and maintain its security and stability.
