HH The Amir Chairs First Meeting of Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy of 2019, held at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday morning.

The meeting was attended by HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, and HH The Personal Representative of HH The Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Chairman of the Board.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, who is also a member of the Board, and the other members of the Board attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the latest developments in Qatar 2022 football World Cup projects were reviewed, including infrastructure, stadiums and accommodation, in addition to the security plans and preparations for the tournament.
