HH The Amir Participates in Sports Day

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani participated along with citizens and residents in the activities of Qatar National Sports Day.

HH The Amir visited the Nomas Center to meet with autistic children participating in the horse-riding event. The goal of the event is to create a bond between the children with autism and horses, it is the first experiment of its kind in the Middle East.

HH The Amir then joined the children in the indoor facility to take part in the different sports such as running, archery and football.

The children expressed their delight at the attendance and participation of HH The Amir in some of the sporting activities with them.

The attendance of HH The Amir reflected his personal commitment to the annual event and the role it plays in raising awareness in leading a healthy lifestyle.
