HH The Amir Patronises Closing of HH The Amir’s Sword Racing Festival

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the closing of HH The Amir’s Sword Racing Festival at the Racetrack and Equestrian Club in Al Rayyan.

Following the end of the race, HH The Amir handed over the Golden Sword to Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, the owner of the horse (Ghazwan) that won the main-half. HH The Amir handed the Amir’s Award to Khalifa bin Sheail bin Khalifa Al Kuwari, owner of the horse (The Blue Eye) that placed first in the seventh game. HH The Amir also handed the Silver Sword to Khalifa bin Sheail bin Khalifa Al Kuwari, owner of the horse (Spaghetti) that was the first place winner in the sixth inning.

In addition, HH The Amir crowned the top winners in the Grand Prix tournament, which was held as part of the festival. He also crowned the top winners in the “Al Sabeq” race, and honoured the festival’s corporate sponsors.
