HH The Amir Issues a Number of Decrees

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued, On Wednesday, Decree No. 45 of 2018 ratifying a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on conducting a political dialogue for issues of common interest between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy, signed in Doha on August 2, 2017, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 46 of 2018 ratifying the MoU regarding mutual recognition of eligibility for maritime workers between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, signed in Doha on December 2, 2015, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 47 of 2018 on the ratification of an agreement between the State of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Germany on encouragement and reciprocal protection of mutual investments and the Protocols thereto, signed in Bonn on June 14, 1996, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

The Amir issued Decree No. 48 of 2018 ratifying an MoU between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic, private and official passports, signed in Doha on October 10, 2017, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir also issued Decree No. 49 of 2018 on the ratification of an air transport agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Armenia, signed in Doha on April 4, 2002, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 50 of 2018 on the ratification of an Air Services Agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of Turkmenistan, signed in Ashgabat on March 7, 2016, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 51 of 2018 on the ratification of an MoU on cooperation in youth and sports fields between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, signed in Sofia on March 8, 2018, which is annexed to this decree and has the force of law in accordance with Article (68) of the Constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 52 of 2018 on the ratification of the Protocol on the Elimination of Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products during the fifth session of the Conference of the Parties to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, signed on November 12, 2012 in Seoul, which is annexed to this decree and to has the force of law in accordance with article 68 of the Constitution.

The decrees are effective starting from its date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
