HH the Amir Issues Law Amending Provisions of Military Service Law

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued law no. 7 of 2016 amending some of the provisions of the military service decree law no. 31 of 2006.

The law states that a military personnel can take a special leave in accordance to article no.69 if he is accompanying a state envoy on an official mission, training course or to study abroad.

The law is effective from its implementation and its date of publication in the official gazette.
